Our Photography Process and Policies
At Photography by Daniel Park (PBDP), we are committed to providing high-quality, consistent, and reliable real estate photography services. This guide outlines our process and policies to ensure clarity and professionalism every step of the way.
+ Fairness Policy
We serve a wide range of real estate agents, many of whom compete in the same market. To ensure fairness and consistency:
- All clients receive the same high-quality service and product, regardless of volume or frequency of bookings.
- Special requests that disrupt our workflow (e.g., expedited delivery) cannot be honored. Our structured process allows us to meet the needs of all clients efficiently while maintaining quality.
+ Scheduling Policies
- Submitting a Request: All appointments require a completed property request form to ensure we have the necessary details for scheduling.
- Confirmation Process: After reviewing your request, we will propose a date and time frame via email or text. The exact appointment time will be confirmed within 24 hours of the scheduled shoot.
- First-Come, First-Served: Scheduling operates on a first-come, first-served basis. To secure your preferred timing, submit requests as early as possible.
- Cancellations, Rescheduling, and No-Shows: If we arrive and access to the property is unavailable or if the property is not ready for photography, it will be considered a no-show, and a rescheduling fee may apply.
+ Photo Delivery Timeline
- Photos will be delivered within 48 hours of the shoot (excluding Sundays).
- Most sessions are delivered within 24 hours.
+ Our Services
- Daytime Listing Photography: Includes 36 or more professionally edited photos for an average 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom home.
- Evening Listing Photography: Features 36 or more edited photos, including drone photography. An agent or homeowner must be present to address any last-minute adjustments.
- Drone Photography: Available as a standalone service with 12 or more aerial images, or as an add-on to daytime listing photography.
- Vacant Land Photography: A cost-effective solution for capturing high-quality images of undeveloped properties.
- Reshoot Packages: Affordable options for revisiting properties we’ve previously photographed.
+ Preparing the Property
To achieve the best results, properties must be fully prepared before the scheduled shoot:
- Declutter all spaces, remove personal items, and ensure cleanliness.
- Move vehicles out of driveways and clear outdoor areas of clutter.
- Turn on all lights, open curtains, and adjust blinds to let in natural light.
Important Note: If the property is not ready for photography upon our arrival, we reserve the right to reschedule at the next available time slot.
+ Weather Policy
- General Guidelines: Shoots proceed in most weather conditions, except rain, which requires rescheduling. Drone operations are limited to wind speeds of 15mph or less.
- Responsibility: If the decision is made to proceed in suboptimal weather conditions, clients assume responsibility for the results.
+ Professionalism and Certifications
- We treat every property with care and aim to leave it exactly as we found it.
- Our photographers are FAA-certified drone operators and comply with all safety regulations.
- We carry Errors & Omissions (E&O) insurance for added peace of mind.
+ Payment Policy
- Photos are delivered via a secure online system and require payment prior to download.
- If we complete the work as scheduled, payment is due in full.
- By booking our services, you agree that you are legally and contractually obligated to remit payment once the work is completed.
+ Service Limitations
- Our services are exclusively for licensed real estate agents listing properties in the local MLS.
- We do not work directly with homeowners or photograph short-term vacation rentals.
